Riveer ferry with Octopus Series battery system is awarded ship of the year
The Gorinchem XII, a fully-electric catamaran ferry sailing the region around Gorinchem in the Netherlands, is a great representation of innovation in Dutch shipbuilding. The very lightweigh construction has been implemented in every detail, including the battery system. The video explains more about this innovative vessel and why it has won the award.
