Two electric workboats for Dutch provinces
Groeneveldt, a specialist and supplier for electrically powered workboats for road and waterway construction, has built two work vessels equipped with EST-Floattech 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺. The vessels benefit from an efficient and lightweight energy storage solution ensuring to sail electrically in densely populated areas in the Netherlands.
The main goal of the province was to have fully emission-free vessels sailing around, which is achieved due to the Octopus Lite battery system, part of the safe and certified Octopus Series.
