EST-Floattech is looking for a Service Engineer / Commissioner

The position
As a Commissioner / Service Engineer, you will help realise the further growth of EST-Floattech within the changing world of energy storage systems and their applications. You will be our face to customers: you will, after an induction period (of learning on the job), independently install and commission energy storage systems. You will also assist customers in case of malfunctions. The work will mainly take place in the Netherlands and North-West Europe; sometimes it requires you to support our clients outside office hours and/or in the weekends.
Our customers are shipyards and system integrators, and converations ranging from the end-users to technical managers/directors.
Our technology is innovative and you will regularly give explanations to those who ask, you’ll share your knowlegde on how the system works. Our new colleague takes pleasure in proudly promoting our energy storage at the various levels of conversation, understands the importance of sales and maintaining contacts while working with new and existing customers.
On the job
- Installing and commissioning energy storage and management systems.
- Maintaining EST-Floattech systems.
- Analysing error messages, reading systems and making any necessary adjustments.
- Administration and reporting of the work carried out.
Requirements
- You preferably have a technical MBO education (level 3 or 4) in the field of electrical engineering, energy engineering or similar.
- It is an advantage if you have some demonstrable experience in a similar position.
- You are proactive, have an eye for customer satisfaction, can work well independently and are very accurate.
- You are flexible and willing to work abroad for up to 50% of the time.
- You are communicatively strong (in a technical environment) and have a good command of the English/Dutch language.
- VCA certificate required
